Chateau Motel

My wife and I went to this hotel for vacation. This was the first time I had seen the ocean and the room was perfect and our kids really loved it.

Typical stiff white sheets and small scratchy bath towels. Low water pressure showers. Small fridge, have to pay for ice. Parking lot is congested and small, have to pay for second car to park and has to be across the street in not so secure area. Checkout times a little early. ...read more

Staff was friendly and this hotel was very busy.

Aside from a slight smell (we lit a candle and it was fine), I would without a doubt recommend this motel. Friendly staff, clean room, beautiful view of beach. Extended my check-out time at no charge.

Inconsiderate staff, poor room service and extra charges. Unsanitary, bugs, disgusting do not recommend for any type of traveler. Employed housekeepers smoking pot outside of hotel. Overall bad stay.

Great get away for short stay. Take a pad for the bed unless you like them very hard.

Good for short term traveler or low budget but you expect good ocean view.

This hotel was great for our purposes, inexpensive beach front view with a pool. we loved the beds, the view, and the beach access. the room could have used a little more thought as to decor and placement of furniture, but it suited our needs perfectly. the only thing we had a problem with was that when we requested maid service, all they did was replace the towels, and cleaned nothing.
